Trends of the Week: 22/11-28/11
In our first post of our Trends of the Week series, we will be recapping some of the viral social media trends from the third week of November that you can participate in with your friends and family!
Colour Test

This tricky yet fun game is meant to test your ability to react on the spot. Your role is to match the colour of the word on your face with either one of the colours listed on the screen. But be careful, as the word itself (eg. red) might not be the same as its colour (eg. blue)! Recently, some seniors have hopped onto the trend, such as Over-50 Singapore TikTok Creator Bridget Fernandez.
Food Dance

Ever had a meal so good that it made you want to break into a dance? Well, here’s another trend that has taken social media by storm! Participants of this trend film themselves with their dish/ meal, and flick their wrists to the beat of the music.
Baby Dance

If the Food Dance is meant for food, the Baby Dance is meant for any situation that puts you in a dancey mood! This trend captured everyone’s attention when a video of one-year-old Laine dancing in her pool floatie went viral on the Internet. To participate, simply caption your video with a short description of what the situation is (or not) and record yourself shimmying your shoulders!
